Four collections, one slab format
Every collection leaves the same line at the same two thicknesses, so a project can move between them without redrawing a single junction detail. What changes is the surface: veined, mineral, solid or relief.
What the material has to survive
A surface in a hotel lobby is cleaned twice a day, in a kitchen it meets a pan straight off the hob, and on a façade it spends thirty years in the weather. Three numbers decide all three, and none of them is a marketing figure.
Water absorption
Non-porous through the body, so it does not stain from the inside and it never needs sealing. This is why it survives a cleaning regime that destroys natural stone.
Surface hardness
Harder than a steel knife blade. It is not scratch-proof, and any surface sold to you as scratch-proof is being oversold — but it does not mark from ordinary use.
Thermal shock
There is no resin in the body, so a hot pan does not craze the surface. Sample test reference — confirm the standard against your own project requirement.
One kiln, one recipe, no third-party pressing
We press and fire in one building in Vila-real, twenty minutes from the port. Nothing is subcontracted, which is a commercial disadvantage in a good year and the reason our colour stays put in a bad one. A slab that leaves here in March and one that leaves in November come off the same line, from the same recipe, with the batch number printed on the back of both.
Where it has been built
Six completed projects with the finishes used on each. Every one of them was specified by a practice that asked for the technical file before it asked for a sample.
From sample to site
Samples go out flat, 200 × 200 mm, with the technical file in the box. Quotations come back within two working days, and stock finishes ship from Rotterdam or Newark.
