Warm gold veining for the one surface in the room that is meant to be looked at.
What this finish is for
V04 has a bold gold and taupe vein on a warm off-white ground. It is not a background material and it is a mistake to specify it as one: in a room where three surfaces compete, this one wins and the other two look like they lost.
Because the vein is strong, book-matching matters. We supply consecutive slabs from the same firing on request, and the datasheet includes the vein direction so the fabricator can set out the mitre before cutting rather than after.
The most common use is a single island front or a vanity wall. The second most common is a mistake nobody catches until installation: running it across a large floor, where the vein repeats and starts to read as a pattern rather than as stone.

A 3200 × 1600 slab is not a big tile
Two people and a frame move it; a suction rail does the rest. The reason the format matters is not the size of the slab, it is the number of joints that disappear from the drawing.
A three-metre island in 3200 comes out of one slab, with the waterfall ends book-matched from the same piece. In 1200 × 600 it is nine pieces and eight joints, and every one of those joints is a decision somebody has to make on site, at seven in the morning, with the client arriving at nine.
