The oldest project on this list, which is the reason it is here.

A waterfront restaurant completed in 2022 and included here because it is the oldest project in the list. A four-year-old hospitality interior tells you things a sample cannot: what the bar top looks like where the staff lean, what the floor looks like under the service route, and whether the colour has moved.
T05 Sabbia is used for the bar top, the table tops and the floor — one finish doing three jobs, which is unusual for us to recommend and worked here because the room is small and the alternative was to make it look busy.
The wall behind the bar is L08 Onda, lit from a continuous slot at skirting level. This finish depends entirely on grazing light; the lighting was specified before the material, which is the correct order and rarely what happens.
The bar top has been re-polished once, at the front edge, in four years. The floor has not been touched beyond routine cleaning.

Four years of a waterfront restaurant is a better test than any sample we could have shown the client.Studio Havik
