Terracotta as a solid colour, not as a pattern.
What this finish is for
M06 is a terracotta clay colour, flat and matt, with none of the tonal variation of a fired clay tile. It reads as pigment rather than as a material imitation, which is why it tends to be used in full-height walls and joinery fronts rather than on floors.
It is supplied at 12 mm only. At 20 mm the colour is the same but the weight of a full 3200 × 1600 slab in a strong colour is rarely what a vertical application wants, and we would rather not carry a thickness that gets specified by accident.
A note that saves a conversation later: strong colours are the ones most affected by lighting temperature. Under 2700 K this reads richer and slightly redder than the sample looks in daylight.

A 3200 × 1600 slab is not a big tile
Two people and a frame move it; a suction rail does the rest. The reason the format matters is not the size of the slab, it is the number of joints that disappear from the drawing.
A three-metre island in 3200 comes out of one slab, with the waterfall ends book-matched from the same piece. In 1200 × 600 it is nine pieces and eight joints, and every one of those joints is a decision somebody has to make on site, at seven in the morning, with the client arriving at nine.
